Psalms 5:7-12(NIrV)

⁷ Because of your great love / I will come into your house.
because는 이유를 설명하는 것이죠. 명사나 명사구가 올때는 because of 를 사용합니다.
come to / come into 비슷한 뜻이지만 into를 사용하면 ‘안으로의’ 느낌이 추가된것으로 생각하시면 됩니다.
주님의 놀라운 사랑때문에 제가 주님의 집에 갈 겁니다.

With deep respect / I will bow down / toward your holy temple.
toward ~쪽으로, 향하여  toward you 네 쪽으로
경외함으로 주님의 거룩한 성전을 향하여 무릎 꿇습니다.

⁸ Lord, I have many enemies.
주님, 제게는 적이 많습니다.

Lead me / in your right path.
저를 바른 길로 인도해 주세요.

Make your way / smooth and straight for me.
make는 무엇을 어떻게 만들다는 뜻이죠. 그래서 그렇게 해주다, 만들다에 해당하는 표현으로 쓰시면 됩니다. 이때 smooth나 straight과 같이 형용사 를 직접 쓸수 있습니다.
My mom makes me happy. 엄마는 나를 기쁘게 해주신다. I made my dad angry. 나는 아빠를 화나게 했다.
저를 위해 주님의 길을 평탄하고 고르게 해주세요.

⁹ Not a word from their mouths / can be trusted.
문장의 형태가 좀 다르죠. 앞에 make를 넣어서 생각하시면 쉬울 겁니다.  Make a word ~ cannot be trusted.로 이해하세요.
그들의 입에서 나오는 말들을 아무도 믿지 않게 해주세요.

Their hearts are filled with / plans to destroy others.
destroy는 무너뜨린다는 뜻이니까 사람에게 사용되면, 망하게 하거나 헤친다는 뜻이 됩니다.
be filled with ~: ~로 가득차다.
그들의 마음에는 다른 사람을 헤칠 생각으로 가득 차 있습니다.

Their throats are like open graves.
open은 동사와 형용사의 형태가 같습니다. 어떤 동사같이 분사형태가 형용사로 쓰이는 경우가 있는데, 이 단어는 opened가 아니라 open 입니다. Open(형용사)의 반대말은 closed랍니다.
그들의 목구멍은 열린 무덤입니다.

With their tongues / they tell lies.
그들은 혀로 거짓을 말합니다.

¹⁰ God,  show that / they are guilty.
하나님, 그들이 잘못된 것을 보여주세요.
Let their evil plans bring them down.
그들의 악한 계획들이 그들을 수포로 돌아가게 하소서.
Send them away / because of their many sins.
그들의 많은 죄로 인해 그들을 좇으소서
They have refused to obey you.
그들은 순종하기를 거부하였습니다.

¹¹ But let all those / who go to you for safety / be glad.
let은 ~으로 하여금 ~하게 하다는 뜻이죠. Let 다음에 대상이 되는 말이 나오고 다음에 동사 원형이 나옵니다. 흔히 쓰이는 말로
Let me know. 나로 하여 알게 하라. => 나한테 알려줘.
Let it be. 그대로 나둬.
그러나 주님께 피하는 자들을 기쁘게 하소서.

Let them always sing with joy.
let을 사용하면서 빈도부사를 쓸 때 의 위치를 기억해 두세요.
그들을 기쁨으로 늘 노래하게 하소서.

Spread your cover over them / and keep them safe.
over의 느낌을 아시겠나요? Spread on이 아니고 over를 사용했답니다.
keep safe them 이 아니고, keep them safe라는 거 그냥 외워두세요.
어, 그러면 바로 앞문장에서는 어찌 된 것인가요. 앞문장에서의 목적어는 your cover입니다. 뒤문장에서의 them에 해당하는.
주의 덮개로 그들을 덮으시고 안전하게 지키소서.

Then those / who love you / will be glad because of you.
그때에 주님으로 인해 주님을 사랑하는 자들이 기뻐할 것입니다.

¹² Lord, those / who love you / will be glad because of you.
주님, 주님은 의를 행하는 자들을 축복하십니다.
Like a shield, your loving care keeps them safe.
like는 좋아하다는 동사이지만, 이런 경우는 ~ 같은 뜻으로 사용됩니다.
like this : 이런 것 같은
방패같이, 주님의 사랑의 보호가 그들을 안전히 지키십니다.

… all those  who go to you for safety  be glad.
… those  who love you  will be glad because of you
… those  who love you  will be glad because of you

11,12절에 보면 those를 수식하는 절들이 who로 연결이 되어 나옵니다.
those가 사람을 가리키기 때문에 who가 따라나오면서 그것을 설명하는 문장이 나옵니다.
those가 사물이라면 that으로 연결이 됩니다.

Those that stand over there are ruined. 저기에 서있는 것들은 다 망쳤어.
이때 주어와 동사 일치에서 주의해야 할 것이 있습니다.

The cookies that my cat ate were Annie’s. 내 고양이가 먹은 과자는 애니의 것이었다.
여기서 cookies가 복수 이므로 were를 사용해야 한다는 것이죠. 본문에서 확인해 보세요.

Psalm 6:1-10

¹ Lord, don’t correct me when you are angry. Don’t punish me when you are burning with anger.
² Lord, have mercy on me. I’m so weak. Lord, heal me. My body is full of pain.
³ My soul is very troubled. Lord, how long will it be until you save me?
⁴ Lord, turn to me and help me.Save me. Your love never fails.
⁵ People can’t remember you when they are dead.
How can they praise you when they are in the grave?
⁶ My groaning has worn me out. All night long my tears flood my bed.
My bed is wet because of my crying.
⁷ I’m so sad I can’t see very well. My eyesight gets worse because of all of my enemies.
⁸ Get away from me, all of you who do evil. The Lord has heard my sobbing.
⁹ The Lord has heard my cry for his favor. The Lord accepts my prayer.
¹⁰ All of enemies will be troubled and put to shame. They will turn back in dishonor. It will happen suddenly.
